COURSE OBJECTIVES

The objective of the course are to familiarize the students with the functioning and governance of the political system in Pakistan, starting from Federal level,  to provincial level and finally with the running of the government at local level.

COURSE OUTLINE

A detailed and comprehensive study of Multi-Level Governance, starting from Federal level, which is the major structure of the Government, to Provincial level, District level then under District level to Tehsil level and Union Council level. Background and emergence of Local Government system in Pakistan, with special reference to the present system of Local Government under Nazims and Naib-Nazim and Devolution of Powers.
